Mission Statement

I decided to put out the Mission Statement even though there is already a page titled “So why are we here?” This statement isn’t meant to duplicate that page. Rather it’s intended to state the purpose of this site in a more formal manner. I may remove the other page in time but for now I will leave them both as they are.

There is a pressing need for a revolution in today’s America. However, thanks to the foresight of our Founding Fathers, there is absolutely no need for any violence whatsoever nor is coercion necessary for those backing freedom and liberty to prevail. In fact, the use of physical force or unlawfulness would only work against any would-be revolutionaries. As the current leaders in government hurtle the nation down a path of increased tyrannical control over almost every aspect of human experience, now is no time for euphemisms or any intellectual sleight-of-hand. Now is the time for all of us who are deeply entrenched in our views to lay our souls and minds bare for all to judge which path is best for the nation. The battle which is looming cannot be fought hand-to-hand. Rather it must be fought mind-to-mind, each side matching one idea with another in order to present the true objectives of their ideals. One path leads to individuals succeeding or failing on their own through free markets and personal liberties with minimum government control. The other path allows Americans’ hopes and ambitions to be run over by the steamroller of collective good. These two paths do not converge nor do they run parallel to each other. They run completely opposite of one another and cannot be simultaneously traveled by any society.

dont-tread-on-me-flagThis is the home of honest ideas. There are no hidden agendas. Support of low taxes does not mean merely low personal income tax rates only for the government to recoup the revenue from business, the wealthy or through increasing taxes on everyday products. Statements about supporting the Second Amendment mean that the government has no right to intrude on a law-abiding individual’s right to keep and bear arms. Support for the rights of the unborn is unwavering. Justice and equality are blind and apply to everyone. No one is determined specially protected nor is anyone viewed beneath any other. There is no pandering. Americans have been pandered to and patronized enough. Now is the time for a politician to stop campaigning and start saying exactly what they mean; not what they believe certain groups of people want to hear. Currently, we are being led by a group of coercive, elitist populists who do not give us the basic courtesy of honesty. It’s time to start holding them accountable once again.

I am certain that given the choice, Americans will choose freedom. However, they must have an honest view of what’s at stake in each decision before they can accurately choose. This is something B. Hussein Obama will never provide. His agenda is increasing government control and he will use any dubious method he can in order to achieve that end. In fact, his Department of Homeland Security has already issued a report deeming ideas such as these a threat to national security. Every tax, new government program, and regulation chips away at basic American freedoms. Now is crucially important for Americans to recognize the trade-offs of personal freedom that comes with every new government-provided service.

At this site, we value honesty in policy. We expect everyone to speak truthfully, especially those we have entrusted to run our government. We are here to show how devious our current leaders have been about their ultimate goals for our nation. Members of both parties have diverted from the Founding Fathers’ vision for the nation. Each step away from that path brings us ever so closer to totalitarian rule. Every “leader” who has led us astray will be called to task here and their dishonesty will be put on display for everyone to see. Americans will not choose anything less than liberty when they are allowed to make a fully informed decision. We intend to ensure they are fully informed so personal liberties can prevail in the peaceful manner the Founders envisioned.
